Server Rules
All the rules and guidelines to play correctly on NextRoleplay.
Good Sense
Good Sense 1
Your character must have a suitable and realistic name, it is not allowed to use names of famous people, characters from movies or cartoons, funny or stupid names.
Good Sense 2
It is forbidden to leave roleplay, any form of insult to IRL people is strictly forbidden.
Good Sense 3
It is strictly forbidden to intimidate a person from playing within the server, or to ruin the gaming experience of others for OOC (Out Of Character) things
Good Sense 4
It is strictly forbidden to insult, offend or engage in toxic attitudes towards the Staff through private messages, especially in relation to sanctions received at stake. Any immature or unsuitable conduct directed at the Staff in private will be considered to all intents and purposes as misconduct in care and may result in further disciplinary action.
Generic Definitions
Random Death Match
It is forbidden to kill without a valid reason. Note: Except in specific cases such as gangs. Please refer to the Gang Rules for more information.
Vehicle Death Match
It is forbidden to kill one or more people by running them over with any vehicle.
Powergame
Actions where game mechanics are abused to perform unrealistic actions.
Powerplay
A harmful action that, due to RP circumstances, does not allow a reaction. Examples: An already established mafia abusing a newly created subgroup (making reaction impossible). Police abusing alert status to conduct forced searches in safe zones. Note: Powerplay is allowed only to factions / OOC figures with the sole purpose of opening RP, not closing it.
No Fear
Occurs when a player underestimates the “fear of death” factor. Even though it is a game, fear must still be roleplayed.
Extreme No Fear
Occurs when a player fails to simulate fear in extreme situations. Examples: Troll behavior during a kidnapping. Acting like a troll in high-risk areas. Note: This may lead to permanent character death.
Police Fear
Roleplaying fear, respect, and realistic consequences toward law enforcement, considering their role.
Metagame
Obtaining information outside the game and using it in-game. [Divided into Meta City, Meta IC, Meta PED] Examples: Searching for drug spots by roaming the map without RP information and recognizing the “blip.” Privately calling employees using service app numbers. Using knowledge from a previous PED that is no longer present.
Off RP
Leaving roleplay while in-game is forbidden. Note: If there are rule violations, the RP must be completed first and then contested in assistance.
Combat Log
Joining the server after an action has started with the intent to take part in it.
Combat Slog
Leaving the server during an action you are involved in, whether alive or dead. Note: Respawning during an ongoing action also falls under this rule.
Bait / Police Bait
Creating an RP scenario based on a commercial/business call. Examples: Calling a business with a fake need in order to kidnap. Forcing engagement with the police with the sole purpose of shooting, kidnapping, or harassing.
Skin
It is prohibited to use unrealistic and non-RP compliant skins Example: Animal or famous person skins
Emergency Vehicles
Stealing any emergency vehicle is forbidden unless approved through a ticket.
Car Kill
Forcing an RP situation without allowing the player any chance to react, limiting their movement (e.g., standing over someone with a vehicle).
Car Jack
Stealing a player’s vehicle while they are inside or nearby.
AFK
While in-game, it is forbidden to leave your PC, especially if you are involved in an active situation. If you need to step away for a few minutes, it is recommended to move your character to a place far from other players. Note: If you are in assistance, you must use the coffee emote. If you continue playing, you will face your sanctions in RP.
Griefing
Providing criminal information to law enforcement (or other factions) with the sole purpose of damaging your own or others’ RP without a valid reason.
Mix Chat
Mixing or confusing OOC and IC topics or words.
